April is Financial Literacy Month, what are you doing to help promote financial literacy?
Rob, Mustard Seed Money: I am running a financial course that I created called Reaching FIRE at my church. Through it, I walk students through the basics of how to create a budget all the way to finding personal retirement numbers. Simply put: I really enjoy helping people make financial breakthroughs.
What financial advice would you offer to a teenager?
Rob, Mustard Seed Money: Learn to start investing as early as you can. If you earn income from a job, open up a Roth IRA and start contributing up to the maximum amount. The earlier you start, the more you can experience Einstein’s 8th wonder of the world– compounding interest.
