Thanks Dave!! I tried to pick out some of my favorites. Who knew celebrities were so insightful 🙂
I find the mix of quotes saying that money won’t bring happiness and the quotes essentially saying the opposite really interesting. Gotta admit that I laughed at the Arnold’s quote: “Money doesn’t make you happy. I now have $50 million but I was just as happy when I had $48 million.”
Matt @ Optimize Your Life recently posted…The Three Fuels of Productivity
That was definitely one of my favorite quotes. Made me laugh out loud for sure. It’s quite the character 🙂
These quote are so inspirational. I didn’t know #1 was from an actor. He must really have his finances put together given the temptation in showbiz.

Excellent list! I think the one that hits in on the nose the best is “Money doesn’t make you happy. It just makes you feel better.” –P. Diddy
I know that is try with me. When we got out of debt and we had a decent net worth i wasn’t happy but I felt way better about our finances. Happiness came from feeling better and spending more time with my family without the stress on my mind.

“If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. The only real security that a man will have in this world is a reserve of knowledge, experience, and ability.”
This statement by Henry Ford caught my eye.
Money comes and goes. There’s no guarantee you’ll have the same amount of money forever. The only thing that you can rely on for support is knowledge from experiences you’ve encountered and that knowledge can give you the ability to do remarkable things.
Money alone can’t do that.
